Hello, Heritage Heroes!

I am so excited and honored to serve as the principal of Heritage Elementary School! From the moment I arrived at Heritage, I knew this was a special place. Our students, staff, families, and community make HES a school where relationships matter, learning is valued, and people genuinely care about one another.

I am proud to have spent my entire educational career right here in Onslow County. I began my career as a middle school teacher and later had the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal at multiple schools across the district. Each of those experiences helped shape me as an educator and leader and eventually led me to Heritage—a place I am so grateful to now call home.

I believe great schools are built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a genuine love for students. I want Heritage to be a place where students are happy and excited to come to school, staff feel supported and valued, and families know they are an important part of our school community. I am passionate about strong instruction, positive school culture, and making sure every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and be successful—with plenty of joy and laughter along the way!

Outside of school, my husband and I have two boys who keep us busy with all of their extracurricular activities! When I have a little free time, I love to read, spend time on the boat or at the beach, and cheer on the NC State Wolfpack.

It is truly a privilege to serve as the principal of Heritage Elementary. I am so glad to be here and look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and make great things happen alongside our Heroes and their families!
